Province of Pangasinan Joins the Cultural Center of the Philippines – Kaisa Sa Sining Luzon Network Regional Caucus-Dialogue

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan, through the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO), joined the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) – Kaisa Sa Sining (KSS) Luzon Network Regional Caucus-Dialogue held from August 4 – 5, 2022, at the Orchid Garden Hotel, Manila.
The activity was attended by Ms. Maria Luisa Amor-Elduayan, PTCAO Department Head, along with the KSS partners and members from Nueva Vizcaya, La Union, Baguio City, Bataan, Malolos – Guiguinto and Bulacan Province, Batangas City, Los Baños, Biñan, Mauban, Sorsogon, and Marinduque.
The Regional Caucus-Dialogue served as a platform for the discussion of major collaborative projects and activities of the network and its members for 2023 – 2025. As part of the 2-day activity, the KSS representatives were also provided with a tour of the newly restored Metropolitan Theater and the new CCP Black Box Theater. The participants also attended the 2022 Cinemalaya Festival.
The Kaisa Sa Sining (KSS) is a partnership program of the Cultural Center of the Philippines that aims to further enrich, develop, and promote arts and culture in the regions and the whole country. It is also intended to increase public participation in the arts, promote artistic excellence, and facilitate a vibrant collaboration between and among communities. The Provincial Government of Pangasinan became a member of the CCP-KSS in 2018 through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the LGU and the CCP.
