Beyond The Usual: Why The Ylang Ylang Events Place & Resort Feels Like Coming Home

Most modern destinations are built for photos nowadays. But often, they miss the soul of what hospitality feels like. They shine, but they don’t always stay with you. The Ylang Ylang Events Place and Resort is different.

Unbothered by trends, untouched by concrete and chrome. Instead, it invites you to slow down, to breathe deeply, and to let the scent of ylang-ylang guide you back to what matters: warmth, calm, and genuine connection.

A 5-minute drive from the town plaza of Mangatarem, Pangasinan, you can effortlessly witness the furling of the petals of ylang-ylang, especially during its peak season, from February to April. Definitely, the best months to visit for a summer getaway. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, dare to let the monsoon season’s rains match the delicate smell of ylang-ylang in the air.

Here’s what you can expect the moment you step your foot inside: a swimming pool, gazebo garden, lush tropical landscaping, and hotel accommodations. The resort’s air-conditioned facilities are ideal for weddings, seminars, and other worthwhile occasions.

We know you’re probably more curious about the rooms. Two types of rooms are located at the resort’s pavilion. The Classic Room is available at Php 4,500 from Sunday to Thursday and Php 5,000 on Friday and Saturday. The Mezzanine Room, offering a little more space and charm, is priced at Php 5,500 from Sundays to Thursday and Php 6,000 on Friday and Saturday. The rooms are thoughtfully curated with ylang-ylang designs—from the ceilings, linens, to the bathing products infused with the pure essence of the flower itself. Here, the ylang-ylang is not just a backdrop. It’s really the main act. Main character, as they say! To add, the bathrooms are wheelchair-friendly, much like the step-free paths and accessible entrances.

They serve fresh local dishes such as Pinakbet where ingredients are sourced straight from their on-site gardens and trusted local farmers. Few exciting things we need to watch out for: farm-to-table immersive experience and camping sites.

With every breath of its namesake flower, you’ll be reminded that real beauty is rooted, not constructed. It’s in the petals of the ylang-ylang flower. In the steady rhythm of nature. In the escape of a place that can simply be your home.
