Pangasinan’s People, Products, and Places Illuminate at the Raniag ti Amianan 2025

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan, through the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO), proudly showcased the province’s culture, rich heritage, and world-class craftsmanship during the Raniag ti Amianan Trade and Travel Expo 2025 held on October 22–26, 2025, at Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Organized by the Department of Tourism Region 1 (DOT-R1) and the Department of Trade and Industry Region 1 (DTI-R1), the event aimed to celebrate the Raniag or “radiant” spirit of Region 1 that illuminates the best of the North. It also served as a platform to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and agrarian reform beneficiaries by promoting their locally made products, unique services, and tourism offerings to a wider market.

A true highlight of the event was the stunning performance of the Pangasinan Provincial Capitol Dancers, who filled the stage with color, energy, and pride. Their performance beautifully reflected the province’s deep-rooted traditions, earning admiration from the audience and shining a spotlight on Pangasinan’s artistic excellence.

The five-day expo was a lively mix of sights, sounds, and flavors, which featured culinary talks, live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, inspiring MSME success stories, and interactive corporate games.

Pangasinan’s tourism stakeholders and partners also came in full force to represent the province’s thriving travel industry. Among them were Mr. Christian DV. Palma (Mangaldan Tourism Officer) from the Pangasinan Tourism Officers Association (PTOA), the Pangasinan Tour Operators and Travel Agencies Association (PTOTAA) headed by Ms. Jonaida Ferrer (Euair Travel and Tours) and Ms. Judith Ibea of Escapers Travel and Tours, and the Association of Local Travel and Tour Operators of Pangasinan (ALTTOP) headed by Ms. Vanessa Pait of Aerosky International Travel & Tours Agency. ALTTOP members present included Ms. Camille Ruth P. Cinchez and Ms. Mary Ruth P. Cinchez of Save Trip Travel & Tours, Ms. Lea Lavarias of Sto. Cristo Travel, and Ms. Hazel Mejia of TG & T Travel & Tours.

Beside the See Pangasinan booth stood the colorful and creatively designed booth of LGU-Bani, represented by Municipal Information Officer Mr. Romel N. Dulay and Municipal Tourism Officer Mr. John Darryl Catabay. Their booth drew attention and praise throughout the event, ultimately winning Best Dressed Booth and People’s Choice Award.

Through this celebration, Pangasinan once again proved that it truly embodies the Raniag spirit. Radiant in its people, rich in its products, and remarkable in its destinations.
