Named after its resemblance to takayan or stairs, the Tinakayanan Falls is a picturesque site with surprises hidden on different levels or, shall we say, steps. There are several routes leading to the falls but each one has its own challenges. Swimmers may also find a deeper pool on the lower part of the falls but the presence of an underground cave next to it make it a difficult swim due to the strong currents. For those who just want to chill, a shallower pool can be found upstream with a quiet spot just beneath the falls.
